  1. Hi Jody, my name is Rick. I started photography almost two years ago and also have had no schooling. I absolutely love your work. I find it inspiring. Your blog has gave me ideas and I cant wait to go shooting.
One question I have. Your “Abandonded Palouse School houses” starts with day one and ends with getting your hotel room so you can get back too it in the morning. With nothing after that obvisously your trip got cut short. I just have to ask, did you find any more school houses? Im hoping to make a trip to the Palouse soon to try and find some of those school houses (I live in Spokane).
I hope you have safe travels on your photographic journey and cant wait to see more.
    Sincerely, Rick.

    • Hi Rick! On that particular trip, I did find more schools on the second and the third day before I had to turn around and head over to the west side of the state. The trip actually didn’t get cut short, I just haven’t had a chance to write more about it as of yet. I seem to be really terrible at updating my blog regularly (one of these days, I promise, I’ll get caught up – or at least that’s what I keep telling myself).

  3. Hi Jody
I want to use one of your photos in a book I am writing at the moment. This is a view of the cathedral of Grecia, Costa Rica. I do not win any money in writing this book, and for this reason I would appreciate a free of charge permission. I will of course refer to you in my publication. Just tell me how.
    Many thanks

    • Marc,

Thank you for your interest in using one of my photos; however, at this time I am unable to give you permission to use my photos for free of charge in your publication. There is quite a bit of cost involved in getting these images (travel costs, equipment costs, processing costs, not to mention the time involved) and it isn’t feasible for me to provide images to people for free of charge.

Thank you for your interest. If you have any other questions, please email me at jodyphippsphotography@gmail.com
